คณะกรรมการป้องกันและปราบปรามการทุจริต ร่วมกับ ปปง. บุกค้น 3 จุด เพื่อหาหลักฐานเอาผิดบริษัทชื่อดังบนเกาะสมุย หลอกชาวต่างชาติขายอสังหาฯ แต่ไม่ออกเอกสารสิทธิ์
ผู้สื่อข่าวรายงานว่า เมื่อวันที่ 22 ส.ค. 67 ตำรวจชุดสืบสวนปราบปราม คุ้มครองผู้บริโภค (ป.ป.ช.) พร้อมด้วยอัยการ และเจ้าหน้าที่ ปปง. รวมกำลังเข้าตรวจสอบจุดเกิดเหตุในอำเภอเกาะสมุย จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี ตามหมายค้นของศาลอาญา จุดที่เข้าค้นรวม 3 จุด คือ บริษัทเอกชน สำนักงานกฎหมาย และถิ่นที่อยู่ของผู้ต้องหา
กรณีดังกล่าวเกิดจากมีผู้เสียหายจำนวนมาก แจ้งความดำเนินคดีบริษัทเอกชนบนเกาะสมุย จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี และกลุ่มซึ่งเป็นบริษัทจัดสรรที่ดิน ทำโครงการอสังหาฯ เช่น คอนโด พูลวิลล่า ได้ฉ้อโกงผู้เสียหายซึ่งเป็นชาวต่างชาติ และกลุ่มผู้เสียหายได้ยื่นเรื่องร้องเรียนต่อสภาองค์กรผู้บริโภค (คสช.) และนำผู้เสียหายไปแจ้งความร้องทุกข์ต่อสำนักงานคณะกรรมการคุ้มครองผู้บริโภค (สคบ.) เพื่อดำเนินคดีกับบริษัทดังกล่าว
โดยพฤติการณ์พบว่ามีผู้เสียหายชาวต่างชาติอย่างน้อย 5 ราย ยื่นฟ้องโครงการอสังหาริมทรัพย์นี้ ฐานฉ้อโกงขายอสังหาริมทรัพย์ และผู้เสียหายชาวต่างชาติไม่ได้รับเอกสารสิทธิ์ตามกฎหมายไทย แม้จะชำระเงินครบถ้วนแล้ว มูลค่าความเสียหายไม่ต่ำกว่า 100 ล้านบาท ผู้เสียหายบางรายฟ้องร้องและชนะคดีในศาลไปแล้วอย่างน้อย 3 คดี แต่โครงการยังไม่สามารถชดใช้ค่าเสียหายใดๆ ได้ จึงได้รวมตัวกันร้องเรียนไปยังกองบังคับการป้องกันและปราบปรามการกระทำความผิดเกี่ยวกับผู้บริโภค (ป.ป.ช.) และสำนักงานป้องกันและปราบปรามการฟอกเงิน (ป.ป.ช.) ซึ่งทั้งสองหน่วยงานได้ขอหมายค้นและดำเนินการสอบสวนทั้ง 3 ประเด็น เพื่อดำเนินคดีกับโครงการนี้ต่อไป
เจ้าหน้าที่จะรวบรวมพยานหลักฐานที่เกี่ยวข้อง หากมีผู้เสียหายจากโครงการดังกล่าว โปรดแจ้งข้อมูลให้ทราบ และใช้สิทธิดำเนินคดีตามกฎหมาย และสำนักงานป้องกันและปราบปรามการฟอกเงิน จะดำเนินการปกป้องสิทธิของผู้เสียหายแต่ละรายต่อไป
